I've been building in the foothills of the Rockies for 25 years. Exterior applications here need to withstand extreme weather conditions. The deck and stairs pictured, endured over 22 feet of snow just this past winter. Storms and solar degradation are a big challenge in the thin air of higher altitudes. I installed my 2-story kit from The Iron Shop at my personal residence at 8500' above sea level. Other customers who aren't in construction might be better advocates for the kit's ease of assembly; I'm here to tell demanding types that this is a quality unit built to last. The shipping company brought it right to my doorstep here in the boonies, and everything about the product is the way The Iron Shop represented it would be. I can tell from this past year's performance that these stairs will outlast me.
