The Iron Shop featured on Home & Garden Televisions home-improvement program Weekend Warriors
BROOMALL, Pa., March 28, 2001 The Iron Shop, the leading manufacturer of spiral stair kits, was recently featured on Weekend Warriors, a half-hour home-improvement program aired on Home & Garden Television (HGTV).
Each week the program takes a personal look at do-it-yourselfers who plan, execute and complete weekend home-improvement projects in their residence. Individuals are followed throughout each stage of their project until it comes to a successful, or at times, unsuccessful completion.
The Iron Shop was included in the March 27th episode in which homeowners Nancy Gunn and Curtis Colden renovated their patio. The couple wanted to give the patio a new look, while connecting it to a guesthouse, that is occupied by Curtis brother Chuck, in the rear of their home. In addition, they wanted to get the project completed rapidly so that they could surprise Chuck when he returns from a business trip overseas.
