Spiral Stair in Paradise
The Iron Shop recently manufactured a viewing platform, complete with a set of spiral stairs, for a development company in Anguilla, West Indies. The platform was carefully thought out and constructed so that it could show potential clients the “view” they would have from condominiums that are in the process of being constructed. The structure includes a two-story 5’6” diameter CODE all-welded galvanized stair with Ipe wood treads and landings. Ipe is a beautifully durable Brazilian hardwood. The two-story stair is comprised of two, 13 riser spirals with triple in-between spindles. To top things off, a canvas canopy covers the viewing deck area.

We’re Environmentally Conscious
Did you know that The Iron Shop uses all bio-degradable substances and does not use Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) during its manufacturing process? VOCs include a variety of chemicals, some of which may have short- and long-term adverse health effects. VOCs are emitted by a wide array of products numbering in the thousands. Examples include: paints and lacquers, paint strippers and cleaning supplies. We also recycle all our metals, the oil from our work trucks, and sawdust.
