The Iron Shop’s Oak Spiral Stair Kits are made from choice kiln-dried Northern and Appalachian red oak. All wood is hand-selected for quality and beauty. The Oak Spiral Stair Kits are custom made to exact floor-to-floor heights and are designed to make assembly quick and easy. Each Oak Spiral Stair Kit includes an instructional video featuring Ed & Joe, “The Furniture Guys.”

Oak Spiral Stair Kits are offered in 4'0", 4'6", 5'0", and BOCA/UBC compliant 5'5" and 6'0" diameters (5'0" model is BOCA conforming with the addition of double in-between spindles). Standard Kits are available in 11, 12, or 13 risers Ð ranging from 8'0" to 10'3 _" (non-standard Kits may be ordered for other heights). There is an internal structural steel threaded rod utilized as the “backbone” of the stair for added rigidity. All stair components are supplied in a mill finish ready for stain (if desired) and polyurethane. The Standard Kit contains everything necessary for a normal installation, including landing, landing railing and all hardware.
