Initial Expansion of The Iron Shop Complete

BROOMALL, Pa., October 28, 2003 — The initial expansion of The Iron Shop’s main plant and showroom, located in Pennsylvania is complete. Diligent construction crews worked for nearly a year to add additional office space to house the growing number of employees; a new loading and storage dock for common carriers to pick-up orders; and constructed a new building to join two already existing buildings to create additional manufacturing space to accommodate an increase in productivity. In addition, an enclosed storage area was created over the past several months by adjoining The Iron Shop’s Main Plant and its Oak Mill.



“We are pleased with the expansion,” says Sam Cohen, financial manager. “It has allowed us to increase productivity. We are able to sell more stairs and get them out to customers faster and more efficiently.”

The Iron Shop plans to continue expanding its facility over the next few years. Plans include adding another building across the street to accommodate additional employees, and increasing the company’s parking area.
