Collar Styles

The tread sleeves slide over the center pole and hold the tread in place. Continuous sleeves are made to stack directly on top of one another, so the center pole is not visible, and gives a less interrupted look with hairline joints between the sleeves. Stair kits with continuous sleeves can receive a powder coated paint finish.

The tread collars slide over the stair center pole and hold the tread in place. Standard 4-1/2” collars come standard with each spiral stair and leave a portion of the center pole visible in between each tread. Stair kits with collars are available in mill (IE unpainted) and black prime painted finishes.

With fully welded stairs the treads are welded directly to the center pole, which results in a very clean look. Please note that welded stairs have a limited delivery zone in the region surrounding Philadelphia, please speak to a Sales Representative to see if you are within this delivery zone prior to ordering.
