Tread Types

The ‘Lip Up’ tread design features a back lip that is taller than the standard tread design. Some favor this aesthetic “Lip Up” also decreases the open riser dimension if that is a consideration.

5’-0” diameter and larger stair kits are provided standard with closed ends. Smaller diameter stairs can be upgraded to include closed ends.

4’-6” diameter and smaller stair kits are provided standard with open ends, but may be upgraded to include closed ends.
