My family has used The Iron Shop on two occasions. One project was a 22 foot outdoor spiral staircase. They helped set up delivery company and a Crane lowered the entire 22 foot staircase into my 3rd floor floor balcony. The powder coating has held up immensely. We have enjoyed using the outdoor stairs post 4 Florida hurricanes with little or no damage. Great manufacturing and engineering to the aforementioned .Furthermore, our newest project for our Florida Bay House has us using their power coated prime interior spiral staircase kit for easy access and install. Ordering spiral staircases over the internet from a Pennsylvania supplier (we are in Cincinnati, Ohio) was a bit daunting. And, indeed, they cost significantly more than offered at Home Depot or Lowes. Steve Cohen was our sales representative and he was very responsive. I think he called and emailed on holidays and weekends. But my architect checked the variables, and felt that for our high-end apartments (these will access two rooftop decks) that the Iron Shop offered a superior product. As the order went forward, the Iron Shop was meticulous as to specifications (you get this wrong and it simply won't work). We bought the black painted product. It all worked out great. Man, is it beautiful. It is sturdy. The staircase accesses the rooftop deck from the master bedroom. When I give people the tour of the 2 BR, 2-level apartment, they are already impressed with the level of finish, but when I take them to the master BR (last stop on the tour) and they see the spiral staircase to the roof, they simply gasp with delight. It is an amazing addition. I would, without reservation, use the Iron Shop again and I would recommend them to friends and developers. I found out that the Irion Shop gave me the best options for my spiral stairs and an excellent price. Steve Cohen helped me with the designing of the spiral stairs. Steve had provided me EXCELLENT! customer service above and beyond what I expected. I reside in California and Steve guided me step by step when it came time for the Installation. It took my son and myself only three days to complete the installation with the help of Steve. I'm a senior over 70 years old and with Steve's help and guidance I was able to complete the project. Steve is very knowledgeable about the product and installation. He's very patient, understanding, and always answered all my questions so I was able to do this project with two people. My parents purchased spiral steps from this business over 30 years ago. I recently purchased steps and railings for my home, and I can tell you I am very happy. The staff were all extremely helpful from beginning to end. The sales team was very knowledgeable and always answered my phone calls, and assisted me even after the purchase with questions and concerns. I am local and was able to go onsite to puck up my order, and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The company is excellent. Quick responses to questions. Pretty easy to order. Took only a week & a half to get to the point of delivery? It arrived in excellent shape - due to superior packaging. Nothing was left to chance. There wasn't a mark on it. Detailed instructions were included Plus a phone number to call for help. There even was a video available to watch. It is installed. I LOVE it. The stairs are very strong. Doesn't make a peep or rattle going up or down. I am just tickled to death !!

We love the new spiral stairs. Install was easy, good quality and the customer service was very helpful. I tried two other spiral stair cases from another company because they were cheaper. This proved to be a mistake as the stairs were poor quality and some items would not fit together and the customer service was nonexistent. Therefore, wound up returning those cheaper stairs and purchased spiral stairs from The Iron Shop. I am glad I did. During a major barn restoration, we had a last-minute complication with a traditional staircase that was designed for the barn to navigate a 15-foot-high level change. As soon as I asked our contractor if we could drop in a spiral staircase to solve the problem, they immediately suggested The Iron Shop as a company they had worked with previously and were very pleased with your work. The turnaround time was amazingly short, the application far exceeded anything we had previously planned, and the appearance of a contemporary staircase placed in our 150-year-old barn beside a hidden elevator shaft was stunning! We added repurposed barn wood to be used as treads on the stairs and the spiral staircase looks like it's been there the whole time

Could not have been happier the day our beautiful spiral staircase was installed and again close to 6 years later. Our staircase is beautiful, sturdy, saves backyard space, and is used routinely by our entire family. It looks as good today as the day it was installed. The experience designing our staircase with the staff at the Iron Shop was wonderful and the assistance they provided our contractor during the installation was appreciated. We recently had to email this wonderful company as one of our landscapers slightly scratched our handrail and we wanted to touch up the scratched area ASAP. Unfortunately, the bronze color powder coating we needed was discontinued by the manufacturer but this didn’t stop the Iron Shop employees from going the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. They quickly located a few cans of the discontinued color in their shop and offered them to us. Now how many companies would even bother to look? If you want to partner with a company that is professional and customer oriented then this is the company for you. And did I mention they make a great product? We are so pleased we plan on installing another Iron Shop staircase (or two) in our retirement home in the next few years.

Purchased a 7” diameter aluminum multiline outdoor spiral staircase which was assembled by The Iron Shop. It is larger than most of the pre-fab alternatives but worth it. It isn’t inexpensive but the quality is first rate and a distinctive addition to our home. I picked up the staircase at The Iron Shop manufacturing facility. Although the staircase only weighed about 400 lbs, its size and the chance of damaging it during a 400 mile trip to south-central Virginia made loading somewhat challenging. The manufacturing team that constructed it customized a stand that was bolted on the trailer. The entire team, and several other shop workers, pitched in to ensure safe transport; it wasn’t a cookie-cutter solution! Their pride in their work and ensuring customer satisfaction was clearly evident! The transit took about 9 hours with speeds seldom greater than 45 mph. Travelers were definitely interested in my cargo, appreciated my journey and repeatedly gave me 2-thumbs up after they figured out what they saw. Installation took about 2 days and most certainly meets our most optimistic expectations.

I have had an Iron Shop spiral staircase for over 20 years. I love this staircase- both form and function are superior! I lost a few screws and a bracket and called Iron Shop after 20 years and Dan (Thanks Dan) was kind enough to send me some screws and a bracket at no charge. Thank you Iron Shop! Happy New Year!

Overall great experience. Iron Shop helped me design a narrow spiral staircase for a tight opening up to a finished attic, the stairs were delivered on time, it was fairly easy for me to put the stairs together (and much easier than expected), the stairs look great, are very solid / sturdy, and were priced on the lower end of what I could find.

Beautiful product that was straightforward to assemble (my first time). When I had an issue (my own duh), the team addressed it quickly and professionally.

Ordered parts for my spiral stair kit and the customer support has been above and beyond. Dan sent me some spare parts immediately after I emailed him that I damaged a part during installation! I’ll definitely be ordering my staircase upgrades in the future!
